Portrait
of an Unidentified Man
Canada
Artist, fraud, chameleon, victim. Elmyr de Hory was all of
these, and the most notorious, successful and prolific art
forger of the
20th Century. He painted in the style of Matisse, Picasso and
Modigliani, and passed off the results as originals with astonishing
success.
