Snowflake trail
During the 2009 Taranaki International Festival of the Arts, art
and cultural offerings in the central business district of New
Plymouth will
be linked up by a trail of snowflakes on footpaths. Simply follow the
snowflakes and you’ll experience art and culture to match the best
of what’s on offer around the world.

of New Zealand’s
pre-eminent writers.
Spiegeltent
The
historic European Spiegeltent Salon Perdu, home to the festival’s
cabaret and comedy series and literary programme.
Govett-Brewster Art Gallery
New Zealand’s premier contemporary art museum and home to
the collection of modernist filmmaker and kinetic sculptor Len
Lye,
who himself
called the Govett-Brewster “the
swingiest art gallery of the antipodes”. Considered a pathfinder
in this country’s cultural landscape, the gallery presents a dynamic
programme of exhibitions and events featuring work by leading international
and New Zealand

Puke Ariki
Visit Taranaki’s knowledge centre, a museum, library and
